REVIEW: Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lipsticks

If you love a good matte lip but find some formulas particularly drying, such as the MAC Retro Matte lipsticks, then you will LOVE these Bobbi Brown ones!

They give a great matte finish but glide on so creamy that they actually feel comfortable on your lips and don't leave you with any separated skin. As well as that, the pigmentation in one swipe is crazy, they are so opaque!

The lasting power of these lipsticks is also great- the bold colours especially leave a nice stain underneath so the colour wont be completely gone by the end of the day. Although, they are more prone to smudging compared to a MAC Retro Matte Lipstick as it dries down less, but I'd rather my lipstick feel comfortable than dry!

The only negatives I have about these lipsticks are that the price is a joke, selling for £19.50 per lipstick. Nonetheless, it is expected since Bobbi Brown is a high end brand and the formula is like no other lipstick. Also, the lipsticks are rounded instead of the standard pointed shape, making it a bit more difficult to get a clean shape on the cupids bow. But having a lip brush will help you fight this!

The three shades I own are CALYPSO (8), TRUE PINK (4) and PALE PEACH (7).

Overall, I think the Bobbi Brown Creamy Matte Lip Colours are amazing for anyone who loves a matte lip but hates the dry feeling, especially in Winter, because these will not only give you a matte finish but also keep the lips moisturised. So I highly recommend them!
